Signing in
ChatGPT provides a site-specific account identifier, verified email, and an optional display name. We use these to recognize your account and enforce permissions. Your email is private and is never shown with a public comment.
Comments and ratings
Approved comments are public with your display name. New comments are kept private while awaiting review. Your rating contributes to an aggregate score and can be submitted once per article.
Measuring readership
If the administrator enables analytics, we collect article views, list clicks, and an estimate of active reading time. A random browser identifier and session identifier may be saved on your device. Guest visitor counts are approximate; we do not fingerprint your device. Raw events are retained for up to 90 days before operational compaction. Aggregate reports can be kept longer.
Advertising
If enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies and related technologies. Consent and privacy messaging are provided through Google's advertising tools. Advertising is disabled until a publisher account is configured.
Administration and security
Administrators can review account details and moderation history. Connection secrets are shown only when issued; only their hashes are retained. Administrative changes are recorded in a restricted audit history.
